I am happy to share encouraging news from St. Barnabas Orthodox Orphanage in Kenya.
After a careful process, the orphanage has now been officially validated by CAF Group and listed in the CAF Global Charity Database. This is an important milestone for our mission. It means that friends and supporters around the world can now give through CAF’s secure and trusted giving platforms, with confidence that our work has been independently reviewed and meets international standards of transparency and accountability.
While this step strengthens our ability to reach supporters globally, the daily needs of the children remain at the heart of our work. The children depend on the orphanage for their wellbeing, and at this time we especially need support for:
- Food, particularly three meals a day
- Clothing and basic necessities
- Safe shelter and maintenance of facilities
- Education, including learning materials and school costs
- Healthcare, medication, and routine medical care
Every gift, prayer, and word of encouragement helps create a stable and loving environment where the children can grow, learn, and look to the future with hope.
International supporters can now give through CAF, and for friends in the United States, donations made via CAF America are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Other giving options continue to be available through our website.
