Youth Mission Week 2025 – Serving Christ Through Service
This August, more than 60 young people from our deanery came together for a special week of service and outreach. The week was filled with acts of love and joy, reminding us that the Church is alive when her youth take an active role.

The youth began with a town cleaning campaign, sweeping, collecting litter, and reminding the community of our shared responsibility for God’s creation.

They organized a football team, using sports to teach unity, discipline, and fellowship among the young faithful.

Our mission team also visited those in need within our community, reaching out with compassion and prayer. This was a true expression of the Orthodox spirit of charity.
Youth Seminar Camp – A Week of Faith and Fellowship
The highlight of August was our Youth Seminar Camp, attended by 158 participants. For an entire week, the youth lived as one family, deepening their faith, building friendships, and discovering the joy of service.
The Fruits of August
These events were not only fun and memorable but also deeply transformative. Many young people testified that their faith was renewed, their friendships strengthened, and their vision for serving Christ expanded.
St. Barnabas Mission now cares for 314 children, while also raising the next generation of Orthodox Christians who will carry the gospel into Kenya’s villages, towns, and schools.
